feel 1% better in 5 4 3 2 1 !

i made up a little activity and i want you to do it with me !
i've put together a few prompts that you can do when you need a little pick me up. and i call it 5 4 3 2 1 :)
because sometimes things can drag us down during our day, but i find a few little prompts can give us a little bit of positive perspective and make us feel even just 1% better.
i did this with some girls at the last christian girl group on saturday, and we all had lots of fun. and there was a general census there that everyone felt at least 1% better after going through these prompts.
so i wanted to share with you! because i want you to feel better too!! <3
it goes like this:
5 - what are 5 things you're thankful for?
(writing gratitude lists can quite literally turn your day around. sometimes we just need a little bit of help finding the good things ! i know it may not solve all your problems, but gee i guarantee it will make you feel a bit better)
4 - what are 4 things you want to prioritise right now?
(what can you focus on to work towards being your best self today? i made myself a new vision board this week, which i 10/10 recommend doing by the way ! especially if you are in need of a good fresh start. so, i would look at that and ask myself what are 4 things i can see here that i know i want to focus on to make me feel my best? like waking up early, reading more, less screen time, being kind to myself. options are endless !)
3 - what are 3 things you are proud of yourself for?
(big or small, there's no silly answer to this even if it's something that seems so little. still counts. give yourself a little credit and be proud of yourself please ! we're here to celebrate all the wins!!! remember i'm literally cheering you on always but it's also important that you cheer yourself on too!)
2 - what are 2 things you love or appreciate about yourself?
(yes i know, this can be challenging one to come up with. but girl ! you are beauuutiful and gorgeous and worthy and loved!! so yes, i do want you to come up with 2 things you like about yourself right now. and remember the God of the entire universe, everything beautiful in this world, He created you. and wanted one of you. So how's that for showing you your worth? It's important you treat yourself with kindness)
1 - what is 1 bible verse or quote that you are going to speak over yourself today?
(write yourself a little encouraging note or choose a verse of the day that you can look at to encourage through any tough or stressful moments. trust me, a literal reminder can go a long way !)
like i said, from doing this in the past, i quite literally have a 100% success rate of everyone feeling even just the tiniest bit better after answering these. so, seriously ! give it a go!!
