i'm writing this on Sunday night,
(side note: new blog posts coming to you every Monday yay!!! weekly posts i hope you're excited and i'm looking forward to hopefully inspiring you as you go into a new week!)
but tonight i'm getting ready for my week ahead and trying to prepare and organise myself to have a good week and a good tomorrow. trying to motivate myself with the habits i want to focus on, and the goals i want to work on.

but no matter how much i've been trying to "get my life together" the night before a new week (or a new day), i've still been worried and feeling anxious. i thought to myself "i can plan all i want to have a good week, but what if tomorrow i wake up feeling flat? what if i wake up in a not good mood and end up having a bad day? or a whole bad week?"
i guess, i've spent a lot of days this year feeling like that, not the best, not really feeling like myself. something i'm definitely working on because i want to feel like myself for sure ! i guess i just worry about wasting time, and waking up feeling flat when i want to be inspired, motivated, and productive.
which is what led me here, instead of worrying about what i may not accomplish this week, i thought i'd start. because i set myself this goal to publish blog posts every monday morning, and being sunday night realising i hadn't done it i felt like i already failed. before even starting ! so i was like jess, you know what? you can do it now.
so i wanted to show myself that i still have my sparkle in me and show myself and you how to start your day with positivity.
so this is your reminder: you don't have to wait until life is perfect. until you have it all together.
you can do what you can now! you may not have much, but you doing your best is amazing!!! and something you should be proud of!!
and your best may look different each day.
maybe today your best is less than it was yesterday.
and THAT IS OKAY!!! <3
but i encourage you to write some goals for this new day, or this new week.
what do you need to prioritise? (what's something you've been putting off that you know you need to tap into your productive side a bit more)
what would make you happy this week? (no matter what you accomplish, you have to take care of yourself! it's okay if you have a bad day! they're natural. but being mean and hard on yourself doesn't help! and you don't deserve that! find the things that make you happy, even make a list of things! maybe doing a face mask, going for a walk, watching an episode of your favourite show, listening to your favourite songs, journaling, watching the sunset, making a new pinterest board, baking cookies... what makes you happy? do some of that!!)

just remember to take it one day at a time!!
if today wasn't the perfect day or isn't going how you planned. the sun will rise again tomorrow!!! take each day as the fresh start you need!
and be kind to yourself please! you're human! emotions and bad days happen and that's okay. but each day we get to keep going!
you've totally got this today okay!
focus on the good things! and take that fresh start if you need it!!! and let me know what goals you come up with for the week! big or small!!

Thanks you don’t know how much I needed to hear this right now! I have been at home in bed for days feeling down recently. I think I will take your advice and write some goals for myself this week!💕
